They are the first line of service which is why we pride ourselves on only hiring the most experienced and qualified caregivers in the industry. CaraVita Home Care goes above and beyond the hiring requirements mandated by the state when screening our caregivers. Caregivers are thoroughly screened before hiring through a state wide criminal background check, previous employment and reference verification, and in depth pre-employment interviews and practical demonstrations.
CaraVita Home Care employs a wide range of caregivers to fit our client’s individual needs. We have caregivers that are bilingual, experienced in handling advanced chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s. Our caregivers are experienced in assisting with colostomy, urostomy, trach, and vent care. We also specialize in assisting stroke victims as well as many other medical conditions.
We provide monthly continuing education training for our caregivers in an effort to keep them informed of the latest care advances. Our “Healthy Balance” program is the centerpiece of our training program in an effort to keep our client’s independent in their homes for as long as possible. Our nurses and physical therapist provides personal training in client’s homes to individualize care solutions.
